Quote

Lemar Hoskins, currently known as Battlestar began his career as part of the Bold Urban Commandos (BUCkies), the sidekicks/henchmen of Superpatriot (John Walker).

When Walker became the new Captain America, Lemar turned a new leaf alongside him and became his partner "Bucky", until he found out the racist connotations of the name and renamed himself Battlestar. After the death of Walker's parents, Battlestar grew worried of his friend's increasing unstability.

When Flag-Smasher captured Walker, who he deemed an imposter, he told Battlestar to bring the real Captain America. Battlestar sought Rogers (now as the Captain)'s help under his superiors' backs, and freed Walker while Rogers dealt with the problem Flag-Smasher needed him for.

When General Hayworth and Walker staged his death to set his new identity as U.S. Agent, Battlestar believed John had actually died. Even though the Commission on Superhero Activities offered him a place in Freedom Force, Lemar politely refused and returned to his native city, Chicago, to help the community.

At some point he joined Silver Sable's Wild Pack.
